The Need of the Hour:
Shortage of Training Facilities Welding technology is witnessing a visible change in equipments and consumables and there is an urgent need of training to the welders to adapt these changes. At present Welding Industry is facing a shortage of Skilled and Qualified welders. As per recent Engineering Industry survey there is need of 2 lakhs qualified trained persons. Our ITls which have a limited training capacity are unable to fill this gap.
   
Problems associated with unskilled Welder:
Untrained welders can damage the welding equipment as well as precious jobs and produce poor quality work. This leads to major losses. In order to overcome above problems, WTI has started Welding Training and Technical Center.
